- Andrew Davidson, Warehouseman/Painter
My Name is Andrew Davidson and I have been working here at Norlift since 2019. I started in the warehouse department but have recently switched over to the paint booth where I spend most days painting forklifts. The work environment is great with new challenges every day. My hobbies are music, reading, writing, hiking and the occasional backpacking trip, ping pong, and church.
- Kathleen Hanson, Caster Specialist
I have been with Norlift for 11 years. I started part-time in shipping/receiving, moved to parts administration and helped with caster sales. Currently I manage the warranty and part returns process with all vendors, along with leading the caster department, and assisting with Fleet management accounting. I am a Gonzaga alumni, have been married 27 years and have 3 grown children, and enjoy camping with family and friends.
- Jory Hermes, Montana Road Technician
I came to Norlift after spending many years in the US Military and about 12 years overseas as a private security contractor in Iraq and Afghanistan. I have now been with Norlift for about 4 years as the road technician in Missoula, Montana. I do a lot of hunting and shooting in my downtime and reload all my own bullets. I share my life and home with a little gal named Moosie, my miniature weiner dog.
- Nate Jarvis, Sales Manager
I have been with Norlift for 8 years in outside sales and sales management. I love being part of the Norlift team. We have a singular vision for helping others and bringing best practices and valuable solutions to their businesses. Our industry often works behind the scenes, but we have a lot of fun and there is always something new to learn. My wife and daughters make my world go around. We usually find ourselves doing house projects or working on a car in the garage. We also love being outside hiking, camping, and fishing whenever possible. I have the unique privilege of enjoying what I do and where I live.
- Cindy Ostendorf, Service Dispatcher
September 2021 marked 48 years at Norlift. It seems like yesterday I was hired on here in the parts department. From there I moved onto the service department completing (back then they were called mechanics) paperwork to be billed to the customer. It was all handwritten back then, and by the way when I was hired I made it clear I did not type. Fast forward to now and who knew it would all be on a computer (and I still can’t type LOL) and we would call them technicians. We have had people come and go, with a lot of them still being friends and staying in contact with us. I can say that I would not have been here this long if not for the friendships and good people who are like family to work with. Outside of Norlift my life is blessed with a wonderful husband of 37 years (he is also my work partner here), with 2 wonderful children and 2 amazing grandchildren and 4 grand dogs.
- Erich Ostendorf, Shop Foreman
During my education of Industrial Electricity at Spokane Community College, I became interested in electric vehicles. So, when I was hired in October of 1978 at Norlift as a part time electric forklift mechanic, my plan was to work here for a few years and then fall into the electric car market. Well, thanks to the people here, I found a home and career. As my training continued and my wages increased, the dispatch gal (Cindy) decided I was worth marrying and we tied the knot in 1985. Don’t ask her about her decision. After 40 years on the road as a field technician, I moved into the office and am now the service foreman. Over the many years, Cindy and I have made a lot of friends here and with Norlift’s customers. It’s been a blessing. Outside of work my time is spent with our 2 kids and 2 of the very best grandkids.
- Heath Sande, Warehouse Solutions Consultant & Territory Manager of Allied Products
I have been in the Industry since January 2003- I was with Norlift from 2003-2010 and have been back Since November 2012. I have been outside sales the entire time and been involved with our installation team as well. I really enjoy getting to see the different industries our customers service and how they make the things they make. I am a native North Idahoan and love living in the Northwest. I like to go camping, fishing, and hunting as most people here do. I am also very involved in 4H as a leader, parent and Swine Superintendent and was an active Scout leader when my son was part of Boy Scouts.
- Janelle Weidman, Sales Coordinator
I started working on the Norlift team in October of 2019. Prior to that I worked part time in admin for an environmental engineering firm. Most of my skill set however, comes from the 18 years I spent as a stay-at-home mom. Nothing will better prepare you for a busy work environment like two small children! In my free time I like hanging out with those not-so-small-now kids, Jack, 20 and Ava, 16 along with my husband of 21 years, Jason. I also very much enjoy cycling and watching (good) movies.
